The Fashion Crimes' pick of the day consists of two stunning red carpet looks. On the left we have our fuchsia strapless, satin gown accessorized with a black bow belt, handmade crystal necklace, black fox fur stole, and topped off with a lace bunny ear headband! The dress on the right is one of Fashion Crimes' couture pieces; a Black Tie dress in bow baby bow fabric. This elaborate dress requires very little accessories, so for this look only a gold crystal cluster necklace was added. In this case, less is more! With Spring just around the corner (hurry, please!), we are already getting in lots of new stock. The early bird catches the worm, so come on over and get first dibs!!

Not only is this fashion piece popular with our beloved prom girls, but they are quite coveted amongst our birthday girls too! These strapless dresses are covered in sequins and beads, have a corseted top for added security (plus it creates a beautiful silhouette), and has a built in crinoline for a 'fun' and sexy look (think Carrie Bradshaw).

Here Emily is showing off one of our hottest new items, and just as we thought people are going crazy for them; the bendy polka dot head wrap. These satin polka dot hair accessories have a wire on the inside, so you can easily create this look in seconds, no tying necessary! I (Melissa) attended my beautiful cousin Danielle's wedding over the holidays in wonderful Newfoundland, so when packing I made sure to include lots of Fashion Crimes dresses. It's a good thing I did, because my twin sister Meleny saw my electric blue strapless dress and suddenly the "what to wear?" question was answered.

Pictured above is my gorgeous sister completely owning the look with the electric blue dress (don't worry, I took it back when I left for Toronto!), wire cuff bracelet, and jet gem necklace. I am wearing one of Fashion Crimes' newest styles, the Drew Stretch in sheer passemeterie fabric over yellow lining, with my killer rhinestone owl ring and bronze dipped oak leaf earrings. It was a fantastic night, once again reaffirming that Newfie weddings are my favourite kind of weddings!

Toronto singer/songwriter Emma-Lee will be performing at Andy Kim's 7th Annual Christmas Show at the Phoenix Theatre tonight. The variety show also features performances by Sam Roberts, the Arkells, Lights, Ron Sexsmith, Sarah Harmer, Alex Lifeson of Rush, Buck65, Brandon Canning and Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, comedian Sean Cullen and more! All proceeds will be donated to the charity Juliette's Place.

Wow, there is certainly never a dull moment at Fashion Crimes! Just this morning we had the awesome folks of CityTV take over our lovely boutique to do a story about the LBD (little black dress), something every woman should have at least 3 of. Our very own Kanchana (check out the blog post she wrote about DJ Rashida!) did all the on-camera magic, while I (Melissa) was a little distracted by the unattended CityTV microphone that was laying on our cash counter. How could I resist? I just had to get a picture of myself....perhaps I have missed my calling! Ron Burgundy, eat your heart out!

DJ Rashida Starting New Trends with Fashion Crimes

Hello "Fashion Criminals," I hope you're keeping yourself snug in this crazy cold weather we're experiencing, but if you're NOT, here's a bright light that will hopefully bring some warmth into your day and inspire you to step outside the box. We at Fashion Crimes LOVE people who take chances with their fashion ensembles and HAD to show you this impromptu photo shoot we did with none other then one of the BIGGEST DJ's on the planet DJ RASHIDA, who's currently on tour with Prince (catch them performing at the ACC in Toronto November 25 and 26).

We love any woman that rocks horizontal stripes and if you think you can walk out of here resisting the temptation to purchase something, YOU'RE WRONG!!! We have something to compliment any woman's outfit. Here she's rocking a turban with one of Fashion Crimes' amber beaded flower pin that doubles up as a brooch. Her AMAZING blue driving gloves can be found at our store in black, red and white. To tie the whole look together, we have her rocking our Eartha Kitt sunglasses and colourful bangles. We just think this whole look is seductive, edgy and SCREAMS "I'm an individual."

Not only did this rockstar walk out with accessories, she also grabbed an ivory 6-way dress (pictured above.) Hopefully, the next time she's spinning for her A-list celebrity clients such as Jay Z, Kimora Lee Simmons, Michael Jordan, and Jada Pinkett Smith or walking the red carpet for an award show, she'll put her own spin on this fabulous dress that EVERY woman MUST own!!!

Introducing the newest design to emerge from the Fashion Crimes studio on Richmond Street: the Drew Wiggle! You may already be familiar with our Drew dress, if not click HERE for a refresher. This is a similar style but with a pencil skirt to show off your curves as opposed to an a-line hem. It still has a beautiful off shoulder neckline with flattering sheer sleeve, and honestly I have yet to meet a woman who has tried on this dress and didn't fall in love. With the holidays rapidly approaching, surely this dress will come in handy; whether it be a work party, wedding, or New Years Eve. Celebrity Human Race Fundraiser 2011

Back in September, Musik nightclub held the celebrity draft for the Human Race fundraiser, where teams picked their favourite star to join them on a scavenger hunt across the city to raise money for the North York General Hospital Foundation. The night was filled with amazing food, music (including a performance by JRDN), and head turning fashion, so naturally Fashion Crimes was present.

Remembering Halloween

Vivian, another happy Fashion Crimes customer, definitely had her creative thinking cap on when she concocted this incredible costume! Her Mummy Antoinette costume took the historical character and transformed her into the walking dead. She used a floor length white crinoline (also available in red, blue, and black), and white cotton tights, which are on sale for $10!! Fantastic job Vivian, you look both terrifying and beautiful!

Shelley Ambrose, publisher of The Walrus magazine, approached Kanchana for help in finding a dress for the Soulpepper At Play fundraiser last month. The only issue: she needed to do it in 15 minutes! To some this may seem like an impossible request, but for the Fashion Crimes team it was business as usual. Shelley succeeded and left the boutique with the Bowpeep dress in orange spidermum fabric, and judging from the picture she sent it was a job well done. Wow Shelley, you look gorgeous!!

2011 Oceana Ball Fundraiser

Natasha Borota, president and CEO of The It Factor, recently attended the 2011 Oceana Ball looking like a knock out in Fashion Crimes. The event was a lavish fundraiser in support of the Herbie Fund, an organization that brings children from around the world to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) for life-saving or life-altering surgeries. We are happy to report that this year over $30,000 was raised!

Halloween Revisited

Care dropped by Fashion Crimes last week in the hopes of being inspired, as she had yet to decide on a Halloween costume. Once she spotted our strawberry tart wig she knew the direction she was going, but what else to wear with such an elaborate hair do? Of course we had the perfect accessories to complete the look; a black crinoline, red rose belt, and green spotted eyelashes (which are still on sale for $5!!). I (Melissa) had the opportunity to sit in the audience of George Strombolopolous Tonight to watch interviews with John Lithgow, Jeffrey Eugenides, and Liam Gallagher with partner Nicole Appleton. I think I am just going to have to get this amazing style in another colour!

Jacelyn Holmes At The Premier of Sophie

October 28th, 2011 marked the premiere of the film Sophie at the Royal, which features the songs "Growing Up" and "Speechless" from the debut EP of Jacelyn Holmes. Jacelyn was in attendance looking radiant in Fashion Crimes; a beautiful Demure Sleeve dress in licorice crochet fabric, a silk rosette ivory belt, and an orange cocktail ring for that brilliant pop of colour.

The theme was Tots and Tiaras, and both Melissa and Steve were completely decked out in Fashion Crimes attire. Here we have Jessica dressed as Snooki from Jersey Shore. She used a v-neck dress from our sale rack (only $50!!), a geisha style wig (which can also be used for an Amy Winehouse look), rabbit fur boot covers, and the token chain loop sunglasses that absolutely screams Snooki.

These rad sunglasses have a chain that can be worn in the front, or in the back so you can hang them around your neck when you're not wearing them. People are going crazy for these! We have them in a gold version as well, and as you may expect, they are flying out of here!

Last weekend, the Fashion Crimes team went all out; rocking our beautiful flapper dress (available in red, black, and white) paired with long pearl necklaces, headbands, and of course the signature single feather hair comb. Watch out for these shady ladies! The always awesome Emily and Jessica created a gangster costume by using one of the many styles of Fashion Crimes jackets paired with a pencil skirt, and either a fascinator or sideways fedora. Introducing the newest design to emerge from the Fashion Crimes studio, the Jezebel Dance dress! This gorgeous wonder has a full skirt that sits just above the knee; it also has a halter strap that can be tucked in and worn strapless. Both the skirt and bust are covered in silk rosettes creating a look fit for a princess.

Here we have accessorized this stunning piece with a stretch bow belt, black fox fur stole, and multiple layered necklace that is clipped together with a black fabric flower brooch (which, by the way, doubles as a hair barrette). Halloween Window!!

Leave it to Fashion Crimes to have a unique storefront window for one of the best times of the year....Halloween! This year's theme is Villains vs Heroes, with one half of the window dedicated to the wicked, and the other half to those that protect us from the dark side.

Our fearless protectors are styled in bright, juicy colours, each with a silver masquerade mask, giving a superhero feel. I immediately thought 'Sailor Moon' when I first saw the mannequin in the pink strapless dress! Perhaps this is the superhero style of the future....

The mischievous women to the left are wearing a variation of the same mask in black, and are styled in combinations of black feathers, fringe, and fur. While these heinous creatures are slightly terrifying (there is one posing as Medusa), at least they look fabulous!!

Fashion Crimes finally has a 6 Way dress in ivory! Brides, this is the dress you will want to throw on once the ceremony is finished (or even for the nuptials itself, and then tie it in a different way for the reception); it's comfortable and flattering, so you can dance dance dance the night away! Of course, you don't have to be walking down the aisle to rock an ivory dress, take a look at how this piece can transform into many different looks.

1. Grecian Goddess - note the use of a feather hair extension, and 2 bendy snake necklaces (one is used to wrap around the shoulder of the dress).

Halloween Costume Contest at Fashion Crimes

Cha as Lady Gaga.

While our Fashion Crimes team tends to encourage home made costumes, we do have a selection of Lady Gaga costumes to make your life a little easier this Halloween season! Cha transforms herself into the icon with this asymmetrical black and silver sequin dress, which comes with a matching mask. To complete the look, she went with a glitter microphone (we also have headset microphones too, in case you wanted to go as 90's Britney Spears!) that sparkles as much as the dress. Awesome job, now sing us a song Cha!!

Lauren as Christina Aguilera.

The beautiful Lauren got creative when recreating pop star Christina Aguilera. She chose a Fashion Crimes Hepbourne dress in stretch python fabric, and a chain link cinch belt. To summon here inner Xtina, she added temporary pink streaks to her gorgeous blonde hair. And yes, all that hair is Lauren's very own. Jealous.

Emaan as Adele.

To replicate R&B sensation Adele, Emaan opted for a classic, sophisticated look. She is wearing a black satin Holly Boat Sleeve dress (which has pockets!), two gold cuffs, a skinny gold belt, and an auburn wig. This outfit looks good year round; Emaan looks fabulous!

Tiffany as Cher.

We all know Cher has sported many different styles over the years, but Tiffany decided 60's Cher is definitely more recognizable than the rest, and more appropriate (do we remember what she wore to the Oscars? Yikes!). To imitate the legend, Tiffany wore a Demure dress in beadshag fabric, accessorized with lots of feather hair extensions, and a long dark brown wig (which, as mentioned before, can be styled like real hair). One thing is for sure, Tiffany's got you, babe!

Emily as Katy Perry.

Last year it was blue hair. This year it's pink. While we do carry the perfect pink Katy Perry wig, Emily decided the au naturel look would do her costume justice. And it does! A Jezebel Micro Mini dress in adorable cherry print fabric paired with a simple black bob wig will have people wondering if you're the pop sensation in the flesh. Degrassi Does Prom...Fashion Crimes Style

What would prom be without Fashion Crimes? The kids of Degrassi certainly do not want to think about that notion, considering all the gorgeous dresses came from our glorious boutique on Queen West. I was personally ecstatic when I learned our favourite high schoolers had opted for Fashion Crimes dresses, as I was a huge fan of the original Degrassi series (I love you Snake!). Let's take a look as to what the lovely ladies chose to wear to their prom.

Marisol is seen here glowing in a gold sequin Jezebel Tivoli dress, accessorized with a black flower stretch belt, a black crystal heirloom necklace, and black gem bracelet. Standing beside her is a beautiful ivory passemeterie strapless dress paired with a stunning bleach peacock feather hair piece.

Katie is a show stopper in this gold sequin and bead corseted dress. She is also wearing a layered necklace, a rhinestone bracelet, a chunky rhinestone cocktail ring, and satin clutch, which was all provided by Fashion Crimes.

Holly is looking quite graceful in the Heartini dress in mauve 3D garden fabric. This style is a classic cut; it has an A-line skirt with a sweet heart neckline, and will flatter almost any body type. Beautiful!

Villains VS Superheroes

How we all LOVE Halloween here at Fashion Crimes! Did you know we have tons of amazing costumes and accessories to make you look both ghoulish and fashionable on the spookiest of all nights? We have it all! In fact, each Saturday leading up to the 31st all of our stylists dress up according to a theme. Last Saturday's theme was villains and superheroes; take a peek at what the lovely ladies of Fashion Crimes came up with!

Jessica as Harley Quinn (aka: the Joker's girlfriend).

All you need is a little creativity to create such a stylish rendition of this terrifying character. Jessica is wearing a red lace Tiedup dress and black satin waist cincher with fishnet tights. To create a jester appeal, she chose to wear two black and red feather hair extensions behind each ear, with an elaborate fascinator to top off the look. This ensemble is so fabulous, you don't need an occasion like Halloween to rock this outfit!

Cha Cha as Poison Ivy.

Another Gotham City inspired costume (where's the Batman spotlight when you need it?) with everything you see found at Fashion Crimes! Cha is wearing a Jezebel Tivoli dress in green scale fabric, with emerald satin gloves and a taffeta sash. She donned a long red wig, and used one of our new velvet leaf headbands creating a look that Uma Thurman herself would be jealous of. Great job Cha Cha!!

Emily as Storm.

Our student intern turned stylist brought this X-Men hero to life by putting together a Knotty dress in purple lightning silk with silver satin gloves and a white wig. Fashion Crimes even carries a two finger lightning bolt ring that would be the perfect accessory for this costume! Now if only Emily could summon the power of climate and bring Summer back...

Tiffany as Wonder Woman.

This completely proves that you do not need to spend money on a pre-packaged costume that you are only going to wear once. Tiffany combines a royal blue satin dress with a yellow sash, red tights (which are on sale for 50% off), red satin evening gloves, and a gold metallic cuff on each wrist. Also, she is wearing a 'salon quality' black wig, which can be combed and styled with ease (ie: a wig that will last). Great idea Tiff!

We chose what we affectionately call the "Madonna" dress as the Fashion Crimes pick of the day! This beautiful black and cream combo is fitted at the top, has a layered tulle ballerina style skirt, and comes with a cute stretchy gem belt! The belt is detachable so you can switch it up and add a studded cincher to make the dress more rock n' roll, or whatever part of your personality you would like to play up; the options are endless. We have accessorized this piece with a black patent purse (complete with fox tail key chain), a stunning 3 strand gem and pearl necklace, and of course a black veiled fascinator. This isn't a creation we make at our studio so this dress is quickly disappearing from our racks; I would suggest trying it on and making this your Winter treat!

You only have a few weeks left to come up with the perfect Halloween costume, which is why we chose this rubber Cat Woman mask as our pick of the day! That is I, Melissa, (I never said I was photogenic) donning the mask, complete with extra long black satin gloves, and a jewel pyramid bracelet. I was surprised how comfortable the mask is; it is a full cap so it covers your entire head, it has a slit at the back so it will fit almost any size, and even though it is made of rubber it doesn't suffocate you! The talented and beautiful Jacelyn Holmes was on the set of Cover Me Canada for a dress rehearsal recently, and Fashion Crimes was more than happy to help the songstress put together the perfect outfit. CCMA nominee Kirsten Jones!

Canadian singer/songwriter (and Fashion Crimes friend) Kirsten Jones was nominated for Roots Artist of the Year for her album The Mad Mile at the 2011 Canadian Country Music Awards, which was easily well deserved. We had the joy of styling the beautiful songstress for the prestigious event, and by looking at the photos it was a job well done!

As you know, Fashion Crimes has a line of corseted Waist Cinchers that come in an assortment of fabrics and are made at our studio on Richmond Street. These wonderful pieces have hook buttons in the front and laces up in the back, and with sizes ranging from small to extra large it will fit almost any body type. For our pick of the day, we decided to showcase our cincher in the unbelievably adorable teapot fabric! It is a cotton blend with gold satin piping, and will look fabulous layered on top of a fancy dress, or even over a tank top for a more casual look. Caitlin Cronenberg In Fashion Crimes at TIFF

Legendary director David Cronenberg's (The Fly, History of Violence, Eastern Promises...) much anticipated film A Dangerous Method, starring Viggo Mortensen, Keira Knightley, and Michael Fassbender, screened at TIFF. Who was his date? His beautiful daughter Caitlin; a talented photographer who just last year released the book Poser (you must check it out). The Fashion Crimes team was ecstatic when she approached us for a gown to grace upon the red carpet at the premiere. She is above pictured with her dad wearing a Mermaid gown in riptide fabric, which is part of Pam's couture line. Our stylists loved working with Caitlin, and that dress was meant for her body! Congratulations to Mr. Cronenberg; he is one of the reasons why Canada rocks!

"Dressed to Kill" Cancer with Gene Simmons

The "Rally for Kids" fundraising initiative for the Sick Kids Foundation took place September 16th and 17th at Muzik nightclub in downtown Toronto hosted by KISS front man Gene Simmons and wife, Shannon Tweed. Various corporations and kind hearted people had the opportunity to draft their favourite celebrity driver based on how much money they were able to acquire for the cause. This event was absolutely one of my favourites during TIFF weekend because of it's exceptional interior designs, the beautiful exotic cars, and all the high-profile celebrities that came out to support the fundraiser.

Amongst the fabulous chaos, I was able to get some quick shots of Pam with the following gorgeous men: celebrity chef, David Rocco (pictured above) and Dragon Den's star and business guru, Robert Herjavec (pictured below).

I am normally NOT the type to get star struck, but when you have been standing behind Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed for 30 minutes while they wait to go on stage , you turn into a "Creature of the Night" and begin ravenously finding an opportunity to take a photo with the two "Family Jewels." I must say, it was a successful attempt.

As the night begins to wind down and my adrenaline rush turns into fatigue, it is only fitting that before we leave this AMAZING event, the very last photo belongs to the Fashion Crimes team.

Katsuhito Ishii's Smuggler Premieres at TIFF

Midnight Madness at TIFF last Friday was exactly that; even with the film delayed 45 minutes due to technical difficulties the 1100 people in attendance were in high spirits, anxiously awaiting the premiere of Smuggler, a Japanese film directed by genius Katsuhito Ishii. Beach balls were hurled across the crowd (literally), actor/director Bobcat Goldthwait randomly appeared on stage to do a hilarious 15min stand up comedy set, and Mr. Ishii himself said a few words before the film finally started in the wee hours of the morning. Personally, I felt like a little kid at Christmas....I was "pee your pants" excited.

The film did not leave me disappointed; it was packed with humour, action, incredibly intense violent scenes (I had to force myself to not close my eyes at some points), and all the while relaying an important message that everyone can relate to. Oh, and did I mention the fashion? I spotted a mini top hat and horned glasses combination on a yakuza fashionista and thought to myself, that is so Fashion Crimes!

Look out for Fashion Crimes attire in the new music video from Canadian singer/songwriter Lynzie Kent. The song is called "Whoop Dee Do" from the album Something Wild, and the video will be released very very soon! In the meantime, here's a little teaser; I gotta say Lynzie has got me green with envy!

Fashion Crimes Teams Up With WIFT

The Fashion Crimes management team had a blast last night at the WIFT (women in film and television) "The Art of Sound" TIFF event at Pinewood Toronto Studios. WIFT is a not-for-profit organization that supports women in film, television, and digital media to build and sustain their careers both nationally and internationally. We had the pleasure of styling the hardworking ladies of the foundation, as well as the lovely gals of the musical group Magneta Lane. Pictures are coming, so for now feast your eyes on us!

Our new friend Evie stopped by to find a fabulous gown for a wedding at Casa Loma, and judging by the pictures she was completely successful!

Below Evie is wearing an Enticing Halter gown in red satin with her boyfriend Scott. She is the definition of radiant, and we totally approve of her choice of silver accessories. Evie, you look slammin'! And might we say, you two are one adorable couple!

As we, citizens of Toronto, are in the week of INTENSE media coverage because of all the cool TIFF events happening in our beloved city, you didn't really expect Fashion Crimes to stay out of the limelight did you? Of course you didn't!!!! We love all things dramatic and what better way to usher in any premier event then to stage a theatrical grand entrance Fashion Crimes style. We recently teamed up with "Oh La La Cosmetics" to sponsor their three day events where they handed out samples from their cosmetic collection at various TIFF events in the downtown core. How can you say no to GORGEOUS models channeling a bit of Japanese fashion by rocking the pink Jezebel Pom dress with our blonde May wigs?

And why don't you all test out the "blondes have more fun" theory by picking one up at the store for Halloween!!!!! It is just around the corner after all and for all you Femme Fatales out there, we sell them in an intense black colour as well!!!! I think all these girls look beautiful and I wasn't the only one. Guess who they ran into during one of their Yorkville events? I'll give you a hint: he has a "Notebook" full of charming one liners.

That's right! The ladies ran into Ryan Gosling and he absolutely loved the dresses. I think that's worthy of a tear or two don't you think?

The theme of the Fashion Crimes pick of the day is animal rhinestone bracelets! Tonight marks the final episode of Canada Sings; a glee club contest where folks from across the country compete for the charity of their choosing. Have you been watching? I certainly have. Even with my precious analog signal gone (bye bye bunny ears), I have been keeping up by watching the full episodes online. Vocal coach Sharron Matthews (actress, singer, funniest lady alive, and Fashion Crimes friend) has been sporting a new FC look in each episode. Creative genius Kat McEwen did a remarkable job in creating such a vision, showcasing our vast selection of red carpet looks. The window is packed with fringe, fur, wildly colourful fascintaors, and copious amounts of shimmery accessories; all that one would expect to see at a glitzy celebrity event. Saying good-bye to Summer is going to be tough, but welcoming all the new Fall fabrics makes the transition a little easier. The Fashion Crimes Hepbourne dress in licorice crochet flowers is certainly lovely enough to make the pick of the day! This style is a staple from Pam Chorley's massive collection; it elegantly accentuates your curves, it provides coverage for the back and shoulders, and depending on the fabric you choose, it can be worn at a formal event or to the office. This particular material definitely suits a special event, and it is available in a cream colour combination as well.

As the crochet flowers are the main focal point, we decided to keep the accessories to a minimum. The crystal and pearl Heirloom necklace is really all the glitz you need, and we love how it is hand made and hails from Ontario. Also, adding a belt to a dress certainly transforms a look. Here we used a lace flower belt to provide a hip contrast to the otherwise regal ensemble, while defining your waist at the same time. Great dress, great fabric, great times!

Fridge is sporting a fur ermine necklace, which can also be worn as a bracelet. Mermaid Dress Success!

One day Alexis Taylor came to Fashion Crimes to find a fabulous dress to wear to a wedding. She found a gorgeous apple print chiffon Mermaid dress on sale, but unfortunately was a size too big for her. She left the boutique empty handed, but the dress must have haunted her dreams because on the day of the wedding she paid us yet another visit. This time Alexis came rushing through, hair in curlers, in the hopes her dress had not been purchased. Luckily, the dress was still here, so the pretty lady hurled herself into our change room while the lovely Cha Cha quickly helped pin the dress to her size. On the 30 minute train ride to Oakville, Alexis managed to alter the dress by hand! And judging by the pictures, she did an amazing job! Wow woman, you look stunning; we can all learn from your determination and creativity!

Ladies (and gents)! Alexis was lucky in this case, but in many instances we see women coming back to the store to claim the garment they had left behind, only to discover it has been sold. We hate seeing disappointed faces, so if you find a dress you love make sure you take it home with you that day!

Here are two of the latest purses to enter the world of Fashion Crimes. On the left is a hard case, black lace over blush piece that is sleek and sophisticated; a great choice when transitioning an outfit from day to night (during those times that you just do not have time to go home after work!). The smaller clutch has a frame of metal vines and rhinestone flowers; an essential for a formal event or even to jazz up a simple black dress. Also, a chunky olive bib-style necklace is certainly an easy way to add a juicy splash of colour to an otherwise mundane outfit, and it has matching earrings too. Don't you deserve a summer treat? The Fashion Crimes pick of the day is the ever amazing ivory ostrich feather skirt. This original piece from Pam Chorley is definitely a traffic stopper, especially when paired with a waist cincher in baroque fabric! And there are always so many choices at Fashion Crimes; the skirt also is available in black feathers (click HERE to view the black version) and the waist cincher comes in many different fabrics as well. We even have one with little teapots on it! Trust me ladies, you will feel great in this outfit; you'll stand taller (the cincher won't let you slouch!) and with the soft feathers of the skirt hitting you're legs, you will look and most importantly feel like a million bucks (without having to spend anywhere near that much!).

The new wire loop cluster ring makes the Fashion Crimes pick of day! This is one of the many amazing pieces that arrived into the shop last Friday. We love it because it's adjustable to any finger size, it is totally unique, and white is always a good color to have in a ring to complete a Summer outfit, while looking great moving into Fall too. The only place to find this is Fashion Crimes, so we'll see you there (remember we are open the civic holiday, Mon, Aug 1 from 12pm - 5pm!).

The rose crochet, cap sleeve dress is one of the many new pieces that hit the shelves at Fashion Crimes yesterday. This particular dress is an all around crowd pleaser; nicely fitted, not too short, great fabric, and it also comes in black. Here, we have added a brown leather, Canadian-made belt (currently on sale for 30% off!) to create a toned down, less formal look.

So much amazing jewellery and head pieces arrived at Fashion Crimes yesterday; from Marilyn Monroe necklaces to feather flower hair clips to black lace clutches to......well, you are just going to have to come in and see for yourself! In the meantime, we have pictured here some of the many necklaces to just come in the store; a rhinestone rose pendant, followed by an adorable unicorn and friends necklace, and a mini pocket watch with glass cover. These pieces are a great addition to any outfit, whether layered or worn on it's own. This entire look makes up the Fashion Crimes pick of the day! What you are seeing here is the Jezebel Micro Mini dress in bambi print cotton layered with a great boyfriend blazer. It adds a wonderful contrast to the dress, creating a more sleek, sophisticated look against the playfulness of the pink cotton. We also added a stretch cummerbund studded belt (which is on sale for 50% off) for that desired hint of rock and roll!

Keeping with the theme of nature and all things adorable, this look has multiple pendant necklaces. Starting from the top, we chose a 3 bird drop necklace, followed by a cute tree pendant with little birds dangling from it, and an awesome bird cage charm with a little green bird on the inside! This is just a taste of the wonderfully unusual jewellery Fashion Crimes has to offer, and with new stock arriving every day the selection just keeps on growing....
